Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Launches October 1: New Trophies Confirmed, Platinum Impact Still Unknown

Confirmed by PlayStation on August 12: Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition launches on October 1, 2026 (October 2 in some territories including Asia, Australia, and New Zealand), bringing two new pieces of playable content.

Patch v2.0 brings the narrative expansion Echoes of Sekigahara and the roguelike survival mode Most Wanted, where you pick from four playable characters and take on bounties of escalating difficulty.

What it costs

Complete Edition sells for $69.99 for new players. It includes the base game, Ghost of Yōtei Legends, both new pieces of content, all Digital Deluxe Edition content, and the Charm of Hokkyokusei. For existing owners, the upgrade is just $14.99 and unlocks both new experiences.

Everyone gets the Beauty of Yōtei photo mode, new tracks for Watanabe Mode, separated armor appearance/stats, and new accessibility options for free on October 1.

What about the Platinum?

This is the question we care about most at Pathline, and right now there's no firm answer. PlayStation confirms new trophies come with both Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted, without specifying whether they get added to the existing Platinum list or form a separate one.

What we can say today: our Ghost of Yōtei Platinum guide (54 trophies, nothing missable) stays fully valid until the patch drops. If you're mid-Platinum, there's no reason to wait for October 1 to keep going.
