Dune: Awakening Launches on PS5 Tomorrow With Single-Player Mode: 71 Trophies to Chase

After launching in Early Access on PC back in June 2025, Dune: Awakening is finally coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on September 22, 2026. The real news for console players: a full single-player mode, missing from the original PC version, which was built primarily around multiplayer.

Large-scale survival crafting on Arrakis

Developed and published by Funcom, Dune: Awakening is an open-world survival game that sends you exploring Arrakis, from the Deep Desert dunes to the streets of Arrakeen. Base building, crafting, exploration, and faction management, all set in the Dune universe.

71 trophies, nobody's popped the Platinum yet

The trophy list is already visible on trophy trackers: 71 trophies total, including the Platinum. Its condition is blunt: "Complete the other 70 trophies." Early examples spotted include Welcome to Arrakis (complete the introduction), Echoes of the Past and The Assassin's Handbook (progress through the story), In Their Footsteps (craft or place six specific survival items), Job's Done! (complete any contract), and Those Who Control The Spice... (gather 2000 Spice).

No surprise for a game that just landed on console: the average completion rate is still around 8%, and nobody has earned the Platinum yet.
